The symptoms of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) depend on the respective disease and its stage. Moreover, the symptoms may not only affect the genital area, but the whole body. For example, if you experience symptoms such as itching, rashes, vaginal discharge, vaginal burning, a burning sensation when urinating, aphthae, a fever, groin pain, abdominal pain, pain during sex, body aches or swollen or inflamed lymph nodes, these can be signs for STDs. Furthermore, we also recommend a risk check if you change your sexual partners frequently and if you do not consistently practice safe sex (e.g. with condoms).
